Dr. Nicolas M. Dahan is an Assistant Professor of Management with the College of Management of Long Island University - CW Post campus, in Brooksville, NY.
Prior to his current position, he was a faculty with the Anisfield School of Business, at Ramapo College of New Jersey for three years, and at Marne-la-Vallee State University (a French public university, east of Paris) for the previous six years. He has extensive teaching experience with American schools, including George Washington University, Tulane University, Baruch College-CUNY, as well as top French business schools (ESSEC, ESCP-EAP, Sciences Po...) and executive education. He has also been a guest speaker on several US programs (including Wharton-Estée Lauder Institute, Babson College, Ball State University). During his doctoral studies, he was a lecturer in strategic management and international business at University College Dublin (Ireland) for two years.
He has published several research articles in international refeered outlets (International Journal of Business Research, Human Relations, International Studies of Management and Organization, Journal of Public Affairs, AoM 2006 Best paper proceedings) and French ones, mainly in the area of international corporate lobbying and corporate social responsibility. He has also presented papers in many international and French conferences, and organized a number of international research conferences pertaining to corporate political strategies and interest groups, in Paris (France) as well as Amsterdam (Netherlands).
He also has work experience with several firms, and has acted occasionnally as a consultant on public affairs/lobbying at the European Union level.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration (with a focus on Strategic Management and International Business) from CNAM, a famous academic institution founded in Paris in 1794; a graduate degree from Sciences Po (Paris, France), and a BA in Economics from Sorbonne University.
